Photography for me, is without a doubt a very powerful form of artistic expression. Michigan Americana is my creative outlet for photographs of the Great Lakes region, including lighthouses, landscapes, antiques and whatever else catches my eye.
The images presented here represent a variety of digital editing styles and painterly effects using Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter or ON1 Photo. Corel Painter allows me to enhance the images so they have the look of oil, acrylics or watercolor.
